I'm keeping mine forever! 300,000 miles, I don't care. I've owned Porsches, M3's, civics, muscle cars. My EVO is the best I've had. It's AWD, easy to make big power, parts are cheap, came with Recaro's. These cars are the best. I just wish I would have bought one sooner! Haha

I'm at 103K and still going strong.... All you have to do is..

1) change the fluids regularly,
2) keep it clean,
3) replace (or upgrade) parts as they wear out, and
4) don't beat it too hard unless you can afford to do a lot of #3 above.

And oh yeah.. one last thing... don't total it.

I got mine my VIII in 07 upon my long awaited return to the States. I can truly say, that though this will not be my last car, I will never get rid of it. I do plan on getting a IX though.

I can't believe it, I'm going on 7 years this January. Boy did she go through so many changes, and I'm still deciding on so much more stuff to do. My friends arnt referring to my EVO 8 as the EVO anymore after riding in her. I swear some of them are now referring to her as the race car.
Like the other day my friend that races big HP cars asked me if I did anything recently to my race car.
I stopped and thought for a second and realized he's talking about the my EVO 8 )
Don't know about you guys but that really always makes my day.
Whenever my 17 daughter that keeps thinking its gonna be her car misbehaves I tell her I'm gonna sell the EVO, she imediatly stops misbehaving.
Even if I ever wanted to get rid of her, my family would never let it happen.
EVO 8-9 forever FTW!
Oh- if I drove 500 miles this year its a lot. She's a pain in the *** to start, she's a pain in the *** to drive in traffic, she's a pain in the *** with most things but when the boost hits no other car compares in my book.
Not to long ago I asked the board if anyone knew of any Porsche GT3's for sale, my friend wanted one.
Anyway he got it, I drove it and wasn't impressed with the power and handling, don't get me wrong its a sick ****ing car, its got a cage, crazy brakes, etc. But stock motor 415 something HP.
Sorry for all the rambling, its 5am, I'm in the office with nothing to do.

I waited 4 years (July 2010) to buy my 9 because the first time I looked (2006) at my car it was way too much money for a 23 year old college grad to buy. Waited a few years and finally got the one I wanted and I will never let her go. Probably have more than one but I will never let her go. Routine maintance and quality replacement part will hopefully keep her on the road for as long as possible.
