Im keeping mine till the rest of the IX MR's are turned into empty-shell race cars, pathetic ricers with paint and dried cement hanging loose off of 'glue-on eBay body kits', or are simply wrecked or otherwise disposed of.
then i will sell my low-miles, mostly stock beauty at the classic car auction for a million $$$

I plan on keeping my VIII forever. And she is a garage ***** for the exact reasons people see rust on their cars. It never sees as much as a cloudy day. And i plan on building a new garage soon which will have heat/humidity control. If i ever feel the need to get an evo daily deriver id get an x or an ix mr. But as of now i'm thinking acura tl s type.

if price is your only concern, dont worry, X's are already being heavily discounted, and more cuts are to come. You can already get either GSR or MR at invoice price

I'd like to keep mine forever. I bought my SE brand new in February 2007 and currently have just over 18,300 miles. I've managed to keep it stock the whole time, so I suppose if I've made it this far I can probably take advantage of any warranty issues without any complication. I owe less than $5k on it, and it's in great condition.

I like the Type-S, but I see them around here too often. Although the performance isn't as nice, I really like the TL A-spec--I would definitely get one of those.

I'm keeping it until it breaks. And then I'll probably fix it and drive it some more.

im into this fantastic, super handling, super fast EVO for over four years now, before the EVO i went thru cars every 6-12 months, i guess non of them were are fun as the EVO.

Two more years and im gonna turn the BIG 40.
im saying to myself that no other car can replace my EVO in fun, so im gonna just keep her forever.

who's gonna keep her forever?

03 original owners chime in, your in this longer
I plan on keeping my car till I die and I mean it. My brother has a 05 evo 8 and I have a 06 evo 9. His is pretty much fully built and mine is soon to be fully built as well. I also have an M3 but I plan on ditching that and getting an evo 10. I dont know what it is with evo's but I freaking love them with a passion. Hopefully I can sell my M3 soon so I can get myself a 10. That would be a cool sight to see in the garage, an evo 8, 9, and 10 haha. Cheers my friend
