Who's Gonna Keep Their EVO Forever?
i first bought my VIII in 2005 i now have close to 35,000 miles on her , as well of plentiful exterior, interior and motor mods. therefore me getting rid of her with such low mileage and so much money dumped into it as of now id be a fool. bottomline is im definetly keeping her these cars are rare and will continue to rise up in value and so fourth.
My baby is just about the perfect car... roomy (for me anyway, used to subcompacts), fun, powerful, practical. I hope that I measure my ownership experience in decades.
My only concern will be sourcing wear items say, 5-10 years form now.

I plan on keeping my Evo. I've had it a year and it's already a 1/3rd of the way paid off. I plan on paying it off and turning it into a weekend car. I'll drive some boring crap car for a DD.
I don't think I would want to get rid of mine. Unless someone wanted to trade with me for a WW IX. Other than that, I feel like the car is too unique to just get rid of. Like someone else mentioned before, I'll just add to the collection.
With the number of "older" (50+ years) car enthusiasts I've met who have told me "Man, I wish I had kept my 19XX Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxxx!!!! That car is worth so much money now." or "That car was a blast, I widh I had never sold it." I will NEVER, EVER sell my Evo.
And any other performance car that I buy that I love, I will not be selling those either. I don't want to be 50 and regret not keeping my cars.

I sold mine because the above was no where near achievable to my desires. It was fun as a race car for the 3 years I had it though! Driving it anywhere other than on track... not so much.
I happily replaced my Evo with a barely used Carrera 4, and I have very very few regrets.

but thats ok cause i love it!!
