Man you guys are hardcore! It has always been a hate/love relation with my evo. When its running smooth I love it when it starts breaking down with noises and problems I start hating but I will keep it till it not driveable.

One more thing I had a wet dream about last night....

With the money I don't have, and probably will never have, I would do the following:

Purchase two of every generation of evolution. One would be completely stock or returned to stock as from the factory floor and would be kept indoors. The twin of each would be tracked occassionally.

Nice.

The only way my Evo will go anywhere is if I total it. If that were to happen I would buy another without second thought. Nothing really compares to an Evo for all around practicality and fun! But the only Evo I would buy to replace is another 9

i don't think my evo is going anywhere, I love the car so much. The attention I get in this car is worth it. Not to mention what It does for my wellbeing. This is car is by the far the best car I ever owned so far in my life, I was with the whole volkswagen game (VRT) jetta making around 400, Even had a lil taste of the honda game (never again) that was a waste of time. To me being in a car community with Evos is by far the best car community I've been in. Not where you go to a meet and you have to worry if you go home and your car is going to be where you left it in the morning. Lets just say I sleep way better now.

Car is never going. It can be stressing when it doesnt want to cooperate with part installs or tuning sessions and i want to just throw tools and my laptop at people. lol but then i figure it out and keep going. The evo is here to stay forever and waiting to claim some records in spring!

Mine will be with me as long as possible... even wrecked or totalled I would still have a hard time letting go of it...

I'm 20 and have owned a built NA Civic, an 03' Ford Ranger, a S/C 88' Mustang Lx, an 03' Cobra, an 89' Mustang Lx, and of course the Evo. The Evo is BY FAR my favorite car I've ridden in, and I have absolutely no intention of ever selling it.

I don't think it's a dream, I had that same one. Aliens from outer space perhaps beaming thoughts into humanity's brains? I'd do more than occassional tracking though, I'd drive it til the wheels fell off, and then put them back on again to do it again. They are all so easy to work on and parts to keep them moving (sans engine blocks) are easy and pretty cheap to acquire.
