Hey Al, what has been done to the Pruven Evo or are you even allowed to say? (I don't know if they want to keep things secret until the test) Just curious.

Al,

Who are these guys? The website does not contain any information relative to who and where they are. Why don't these startups have sense enough to put a phone number and address? (a rhetorical question).

Somebody needs to tell Pruven to hop on here and gives us a heads up !!!
Actually - Pruven is NOT a registered vendor on here.

Pruven does not post up on any internet sites - just the way they do things

I am not at liberty to post any pictures of the car - etc till after the contest which is the 25th and 26th

When I post the pictures - you will be amazed - the Pruven evo is one sick ride - its got it all - amazing sound and av system, 700 whp, you name it - its got it

There will be more info comming on dyno flash - that is just a temp web page - they have a more professional web page comming prob in the next day or two

www.dynoflash.com is a subsidiary of Pruven Performance - all tunes will be on the pruven awd dyno jet dyno

The black pruven evo has a dyno flash

Thanks Al and great news.... Finally, a reflasher on the east coast who doesn't have to mix explosive stuff to get to 93 octane. Look forward to see their finished website..

once again i am much more than confident on this. it is going to happen this way (unless the mitsu motor doesnt let go)

the set up on that car is very ingenious. the fuel delivery (driveablity of a factory evo, and the fuel economy of a factory evo) and the car's sound system, along with the suspension, and the supper extremely light weight wheels. and not to mention the other 600 little things called horsepower that it will be laying down really good to the fontana tarmac. and also it will pass the emissions idle test. boy o boy are we all in for an insane surpirse here with this car.

my friends i am not joking this car is insane. you guys could just go to pruven and see it as it is coming along. they are very cool over there, they'll tell you whats going on with it and everything specially if you are a mitsubishi owner. dan is very friendly. and so are the rest of the guys.
hey modena,
i think if al is right about Pruven making 700whp, it will surely break something. i don't think you should put "if no one breaks" as a condition. what good is a car that can only make one good flying pass and break? if someone breaks, then his car is not as good of a street car, period. not doubting you or anything. just doubtful of 4g63 w/ such high power surviving torture. don't you have to run 91 octane for scc??? there is no way EVO will make nearly 700hp on 91.

i understand that this car is "INSANE," but tell me, is Ultima GTR w/ v12 bmw not INSANE, also? how about 880whp Viper w/ 24second(191mph) standing MILE? i know pruven is good. but i personally think EVO, not pruven, is out-classed and won't finish in top 3.

if they finish in top 2 like you say, i will buy you lunch/dinner(if you live nearby that is) and we can discuss how cool you are for being right all along!!!

i beg to differ, evo wont accel to 191mph and might be a little slower to 150mph, but a viper wont handle near as good as evo.

91octane??? those high compression engines, dont they have to run on premium??

It won't have to. They can run anything they want for the competition portion of the tests (ie drag, roadcourse, gross display of hp). They only have to use 91 for the street driveability portion and emissions tests.

If the skyline happens to be a gtr vspec the weight dif would be @100 pounds... pig weight? for a person yes...for a car...a tenth of a second

I'm just confused I guess.... I recently watched a video that matched an EVO VII, Skyline GTR, 400hp Porsche 911 turbo (awd), Vette Z06, Ferrari 360 Modena, and NSX...

On a track in Japan, or somewhere, after 4 laps the 911 won.. But it took him 3 laps to get the lead and couldn't pull away..
It was the 911, Skyline, EVO, NSX, Ferrari, Z06...
The 911 was 1 second in front of the Skyline, and the EVO finished not even 1/10th of a second behind the Skyline.. Now, isn't the Skyline's power rated way higher than the EVO? The 4th car to finish was almost 5 seconds behind the EVO, I think... The Z06 was just sad on the track...

remember that USCC is a street car contest with other "events" as opposed to just drag racing and dyno numbers... the grandma test, comfort etc.... how streetable is a 900 hp anything?

I dont care what anyone says, when they say "STREET CAR CHALLENGE" they should use STREET gas. What good is a 10 sec EVO if on street tune it looses 150+plus hp. How often do you really fill up with race gas, come on!!

No one answered who was driving the Pruven car. The driver is much more of a factor that if it has 600 OR 700hp. If it does have 700whp they are downright foolish not to put a good pro behind the wheel. Very few people can drive a car with that much power on a road course and actually use all that power to go faster!!
