fine you don't like vipers, thats your opinion and your entitled to it. im just curious why you say they suck? whats wrong with the car, im dying to know, you can't say the reliability, because they are very reliable and of the tons im aware of, very few have had an major problems, you can't say they don't handle, because they sure do that well, you can't say its not comfortable because its deffinatly not uncomfortabe, you can't say it doesn't brake because even the non abs cars stop pretty good. You deffinatley can't say the car is slow. So im just curious what in your opinon sucks about them. Not trying to drag this argument out any longer, im just curious. And as far as the viper owner you know being a dick, you can't judge everyone off one person. Every car has some owners that are jerks, doesn't have anyting to do with their car its just who they are, they were like that before they had the viper. I mean i've met guys with CRXes that are jerks just liek i've met guys with ferraris that are jerks.

 

I'm curious, why is there so many people that can use capitalization in their username, but not in the posts they write? I'm talking about consistently, too. Like, from one sentence to the next. Not only is it headache-inducing to be seemingly thrusted into a thought mid-sentence, but it also makes it look like every post is from a 14-year-old.

If there aren't any Z06's in this test its bogus. There are highly streetable corvettes that would absolutely dominate this competition. You don't have to deal with the Turbo heat and powerband problems...you have RWD...hello! Check out last months corvette mag! A guy put a C5R engine in a street vette...I believe the rear wheels were 14inchs wide! I mean your taking a car with unbelievable power stock and outbrakes/handles just about every car on the planet...plus its made for mods!

 

i think owners of p car and f cars don't read scc much. i used to be the biggest fan of scc and now i find myself lingering around excellence mag and purely gt mag at the bookstore more than scc or superstreet. if all goes well, i will try to enter my car in 2 years.

but it's too expensive. i mean autothority 720hp is like 50k!!! personally i don't think it's about complexity in engineering, i think it's more like they only sell 10 kits per year and they need to make profit. therefore, charge more for each kit!!! basically, p owners are getting overcharged. oh well. at least we don't have it as bad as f car owners.

my thing is with this spesific viper owner who i think is a *****/punk, it still doesnt mean that i dislike vipers just because he has one.

Well their driver does! I drive the Autothority cars for them for tests and Challenges. The 2002 Twin turbo had 630whp on 92 octane! They do cost a lot to mod but the engine are works of art with the widest smoothest powerband you could ever imagine. If you had the money you'd do it in a heartbeat . The kits use only the best stuff (the cats come from Porsche Motersports etc) so the components cost an amazing amount compaired to what we are used to. By they way they have sold (at last count) over 50 full blown stage three kits all over the world...
