Greddy CounterWeight Shift Knob

I had heard of other users having this shift knob so i finally took the plunge and got one and obviously went about it all wrong and used ebay for starters. Secondly it only screws on a little ways its useable but frustratingly ugly and the sticker is upside down when tight. So my question is does anyone else have this shift knob and did it screw on ok for you? i went to lowes and found a nut and bolt that was its size and screwed it on and the threads inside the knob are far apart and the threads on my shifter are close so thats obviously the problem but WTF its marketed as evo product sry for the book

u screwed it too much?

on my evo ix when i took off the shift knob and screwed it back on it was upside down to.

all you need to do is turn it back and little and use "thread lock" (solvent to help hold the threads in place).

If you take the knob off there is a hole all the way through put a screwdriver through it and then screw the knob on and place the sticker in the correct position. I put a rubber gromet in the boot and pulled it up over the bottum of the knob to hold the boot up high so it looked better.

sound's like they sold you the wrong one. You first screw the knob all the way and then you apply the sticker.

It should take in all the available thread then stop. Got mine from lancershop.com and it fit just like the stocker but with much better feel.

the knob will thread will screw in until you run out of threading so you definitely have a knob that has been stripped. Not the end of the world as you can have that fixed.

Mine fit with no problems. I agree with ^^^ on it possibly being stripped.
