Email tunes
Hey!!
I'm in need of a mail in tune. I had all the intention in the world to goto Mellon tuning but he doesn't seem to answer my emails.
Anybody know of any other company that has a good reputation for email tunes that I could goto??

You need to talk to Mellon Tuning. My buddy gets tuned by him and he pulls out a lot of power with his tunes and yet the car is still d/d'able. Thats who's going to tune me once I do my turbo swap...excited!

e-mail tunes are a waste of time, tuning without a dyno is imho a waste of time and money. You will never know when you are at mbt without a dyno, paying for a suboptimal mapping is throwing your money away.
Different strokes different folks. I do not agree that tuning without a dyno is a waste. Thats just a silly comment to make.
I far pefer to tune the car on the street as this is where my car lives and you can't get anymore real world then that. I've seen so many cars come off dynojets and knock on the street under real world conditions. This is where a Mustang dyno shines. If the operator knows his stuff he can load the car just as it will load on the road.
Email tuning is great as long as you continually log the car and send maps and logs back and forth.
I don't agree with the one map fits all mentality however. Where you flash in a map and roll with it. No worthy email tuners on this site just give you one map
4WS, Mellon, and TTP can tune a car through email just as good as in person baring any mechanical issues with the car that they cannot see
