My Evo's been stripped...
That sucks
Is there even a use or market for the foam in the back seats. I guess you are looking for a regular lancer owner who is trying to make his car look like an evo. OEM parts generally cost more than aftermarket, so this could be an opportunity for some upgrades. I hope your insurance company takes care of you right. Good luck.

same thing i was about to say, because a real thief would have taken the turbo and stock mani and ur 02 housing... but by the looks, he has a turbo kit already and prob wanted the intercooler and the piping, and would explain why all ur exhaust was left in place... look around for newly modded "evo" looking lancers maybe these punks left the vin's sticker on all the panels.... then boombaclack suckas, blast them like ur a jamaican soul thief... hope this turns into good mojo for u... good luck!!
More than likely NOT a Lancer owner since we love Evo steering wheels and his is still there, minus air bag. That and the rear bumper and tails don't fit right unless you do some quarter mods, which costs more than a "normal" Lancer owner wants to spend on something like that.
My guess, Evo owner that wrecked and didn't want to pay for replacement parts. Or crack fiends that are somewhat automotively savvy and know what to steal and sell.

Whats the deal with the paint? just bad camera? Sorry to see that, its definitely totaled.
a fair amount of the stuff taken is far easier to remove than a turbo/manifold/exhaust that has been on the car for a while. Add to that the fickle nature of selling used parts of that nature, and its easy enough to see why they left that on the car.. bumper comes off in about 2 minutes, sells for what? $100?
intercooler is easy but almost worthless, condenser is also somewhat of a wtf as is the radiator. fenders, money. hood, money. interior-lots of money (price a set of front seats lately?) supprised that the wheel is still there, no shock that the bag is gone. trunk, wing, bumper, tails-money.
It is a bit strange what things went missing on the front end and the lack of destruction to the car to remove the items.. thats a bodyshop employee-friend type of thing or a really experienced group of thieves, not some kid and his friends out to get a few body panels. Besides, if they just needed front end parts for the car, whats the point in field stripping the whole thing? it just increases the chances of someone walking up on you. Ergo, not likely someone looking to hook their lancer up.

Im sorry to hear of this. The thieves did a real good job. I think the insurance company will total that car. Too many expensive parts are missing. Good luck man and I hope your back on the road in an evo soon.
Seems like this is becoming more common. I used to park my Evo without a second thought just a couple of years ago but now have to second guess when parking somewhere unfamiliar. But even in familiar settings this is happening too.
That Mitsubishi imobilizer seems to work too well since the cars aren't being stolen just stripped.

You left your prized Evo with goodies sitting outside at an Apartment complex and expected it to be there in one peice?
Insurance - I would have put it in a garage or something out of sight if I was going to not be near it for days and days...
Sorry this happened, hopefully they find the *******s.
