CF Doors?

I'm thinking of going with CF doors but I'm a little concern with safety. I don't plan on driving it crazy, fast and dangerous but just in case type of concern. Will I need to have a rollcage if i go with them CF doors? Also have anyone tried some doors from Ebay? I found a set for $1550 + $80 shipping. Wonder if it's any good as far as quality and fitment.

If you're worried about safety, you bought the wrong car in the first place.

LOL.

Do you want to get CF doors to lighten the car? If so, the CF doors are heavier. My CF fenders are heavier than my stocker's.

As far as safety:

Are our doors really doing anything to help distribute the impact?

I'm not planning to do it to lighten the weight of the car. I plan on doing it since I got side swipe and don't plan on painting it and thought CF would be lighter than OEM. The thing about CF is that if I do it, I might as well replace trunk, fenders, and hood. Do they make front and rear bumper CF? I don't really think it's worth spending thousands of dollars on CF

AznEvoIX - I didn't bought the wrong car. I know well due to extensive research before I bought my Evo. It's just that the CF door don't have a crash beam as compare to OEM door.

First of all CF is stronger than your stock material so saftey should be increased, id be weary of buy some from ebay tho, save up your maoney and get some from a larger name, in the long run itll be worth it, but dont just do the front doors, that be gay, and i hope its black, and as for the rear bumper, they make pretty much everything CF for the evo, you should be set off to your carbon dreamz!!!

Cf doors will just shatter when you get hit rather then absorbing the impact like you stock ones. But hey its your life.
