My cherished, daily driven evo since june of '03, got caught up in the worst hail storm I've seen. Sorry, I don't have pictures, but every panel except the right rear fender has damage. State Farm has a casualty group doing estimates, but its hard for me to believe paintless dent removal can repair it. Anyone have experience with this?

 

Won't the dimples make your car more aerodynamic? Like a golf ball?

Is state farm willing to just replace the bodywork outright?

 

That would be a plus, lol. They haven't given me an appointment yet, for the estimate.

If they total it, take the $$$, buy it back, and just drive it the way it is, mechanically it's fine and I think its absolutely badass to have a dimpled evo.

Yea, mechanically its fine. The wing looked like hell to begin with, with 90% of the clear coat gone. I used to consider it a badge of honor.
