many thanks to all the evo owners for the info shared in this forum.
just acquired my new tarmac black evo tonight after months of reading the info in this site. went thru the same stages of decision about the car- 02 S4, STI, evo and even the TSX.
I'm very happy with my choice...the car's low profile spoiler gives it a very different character, the ride is nice and the engine note is wonderful.
I can almost compare it with my 03 M3, almost same character but with different attitude!
Real problem now is my 03 M3 will have to share the driving days!
Got the car at $500 below invoice,and a very pleasant buying experience at the dealership. No pressure at all!!
You might want to check out Dick Smith dealership in Greenville, SC. Omar is the rep, very nice guy.
They have a yellow and red car still sitting in the lot.
