Are you using the stock intake still? If so, pop your hood and look at the snorkel on the drivers side. It is probably coming loose and choking the engine.

ya i just tried to tighten it looks like it needed some tightening but i think it could also be an exhaust leak or something in that nature cause my car at idle under the car sounds a lil diff from normal

Needs tightening? It just has a few plastic connectors.............you cant screw them in or anything.

What did you check? Are the plastic clips there?

Boost Leak is also a strong possibility.

+1 boost leak. an exhaust leak would just make the car louder lol +20 for loud but do you have stock LICP, UICP and intercooler?

I would recommend to do a boost leak test. You could have a leak in a clamp/coupler, or tb shaft seals. Did you have any recent work done to your car? Diverter valve is installed correctly? remove your intake and check out your MAF. It could be oily, if so carefully clean it out with http://www.crcindustries.com/auto/co...x?S=Y&PN=05110 . Let it air dry for a while, my car is not really a dd so I let it air dry for a few days. A few hours should be good though. If all that is good and you still have issues then something major might be going on, idk.

Spark plugs are a possibilty, I've seen that on one Evo, And like 3 where its a boost leak. Which can be hard to find, sometimes its only a little crack that will only open up under boost, And be closed and nearly invisible the rest of the time.
