I know there are a million threads on this, but I bought the Redline EVO powerpack for my upcoming 35,000 mile service. Does anyone have anything BAD to say about using Redline products in their trans and diffs?

Also, it comes with motor oil as well, but I've been using Mobil 1 for the life of the car. Is there any reason I shouldn't use the Redline stuff and stick with Mobil 1?

 

Yea I toased my TC driving from Portland to Seattle running Redline GL5 75w90. This was back in 2004 on my 03 Evo. Every since I've only used OEM fluids in the drivetrain.

 

Been dd-ing and autox on Amsoil with no problems. Redline isn't favorable from what I've read, so return it and stick with Diaqueen.

 

AMSOIL fan boy chiming in here.....

 

amsoil is the way to go. i run it in everything but the transfer case.....
