Carmax offered 19000...deal or no deal?

yeah, thats not a bad price from a dealer these days, and if your out of time, then go for it. Plus the trade-ins are usually a seperate transaction from what you buy from them, so there are no fluctuations in price and you see everything up front b4 u sign papers !

From my experience with carmax (brought 3 cars there Acura Integra, Saab 9000, and a Nissan Sentra) There is roughly a 3-4 thousand dollars off what you could expect to get from private buyer. Honestly in my opinion it's not worth the headache, if you need the cash just trade it in.
Beware about buying from them though. Apparently their "125 point inspection" does not include checking out the clutch, fluids, or even brake pads. Bastards. This is just my experience though.

Carmax is nothing but headaches if you ask me. I dealt with them for 2 months on getting a evo ix down to my town. First evo they sent was jacked , then a month later got my IX and they decided to paint the front bumper and jack it up. I wouldn't sell nor buy!! bastards
