AEM UEGO Question

Just did a quick hookup of my AEM UEGO to make sure everything works.

With the car just running, there are just three dashes and no numbers which doesnt seem right. My friends with UEGO's the display fluctuates based on AFR..mine doesnt do that....At part throttle the AF is around 14.8, 15ish

I just did my FP Green, TP, DP as well today and the car is untuned, so i stay out of boost..what could the problem be?

Thanks in advance.

hmm...

maybe the wideband needs to be tuned? theres a little thing on the back of it for that.. consult AEM first though..

also, you did put the o2 in the downpipe before the cat, right?

yeah at idle you should still get readings. by partial throttle if thats daily driving then those readings are good. how old is the sensor and where did you mount it?

Mine did this when I first installed it and then after driving around, etc., it worked fine. Go drive around and report back....

did you mount the sensor at the proper location and proper angle?

you could have a bad sensor

what does a 10 degree angle from horizontal do better than a putting it straight on top of the downpipe?

Good question, mine was brand new and it worked right out of the box, no driving around needed...
