Modding goals
I planned on having a 400-425ish whp street car to run 11's in and still be very comfy on the street.
Needs to take corners just as well as straight line. Im still working on the suspension stuff, but I believe I am pretty close with the power stuff right now.

I would agree with that on the auto-x note. Every time you make the car faster, it seems that you introduce new challenges on the auto-x course. I have been bitterly torn between loving the cars performance at the auto-x, but wanted a little more go when I am on the street/highway. For auto-x, I don't feel like having the car will necessarily help...
Right now I have the easy stuff done: Amsoil Intake on a MAF adapter, Greddy ProfecB EBC @23spi on 93, and a tune, with Swift SPEC-R springs, Cusco camber plates (-2.25 camber up front), and poly engine mounts.
I am about to switch to e85 @ 28psi, with 1200cc PTE injectors, Walboro 255, Zietronics WB02, ETS mini battery, ETS Upper/Lower IC piping (short route), Buschur TBE w/ Magnaflow and resonated test pipe. Will be building a 23psi on 93 tune, and a 28psi on e85 tune.
On a IX MR, this should make things pretty fun. I will probably put mods on hold after this for a while, until a turbo upgrade is necessary. I want quick spool, similar to stock, a safe setup. I don't care to have a 500+ hp car that blows parts and is expensive to maintain. I want reliable power, that is suited to auto-x.

To answer the question, my build is focused on throttle response, efficiency, and budget. Since dd and autox requires power in the middle of the powerband, thats where i'm shooting. Autox doesn't require huge power, as proven by the local guy in our region who kills more expensive and highly modified cars in his 1.5liter sohc civic. I take the mods slowly so I can really learn if it is working properly and if it was worth the money. If I can drive my car pass it's limits, then I will at least know what the next step for improvement is. However, that has yet to happen

my car is built with all intentions of being streetable...it is my daily driver and I want it to be manageable in traffic but still be a rush when on open roads
the hta73green will probably be the end of modding power-wise for me...for now I have bolt-ons and make 352whp/348wtq on pump gas
it's fast and clean...gets attention but not too much attention...which is fine by me
