I loved this one it happened a few years ago but I pulled into a local dunkin donuts after coming home from work late near the weekends but it was also one of the local hangouts.. So after coming out a couple kids with their upsidedown visors and faggy popped collars come up to me and they're like. Dude that CF hood is sick! What headlight mod is that?! And I was like..Headlight mod? They proceeded to say the following before I just left.
"Yeah the glass 2 piece headlights thats do wicked jdm yo!"
me-"They're..OEM.."
"Thats weird my HONDA didn't have headlights like that"

these stories are great, but there is like 14 pages, so i doubt anyone would get to mine for a while.

Anyways, my son and daughter always ask to take my car everywhere and when we do the girl (the oldest) always says, "Daddy i want you to go fast cause mommy's green car (subaru legacy winter beater HEHE) is not fast at all" then i ask if she's sure while looking at my sons smily face (he's probably telling himself ooo yeah). She answers back "yeah duh !!".

Can't forget the stares from grandma's and grandpa's. Everytime I drive by them (goin like 20 mph seriously i am) they either stare me down or wave their hands out the window signaling me to slow down. So what do i do ? you guessed it, i pop into neutral and give them a big *** rev. Just kidding i'm not that of an ***, plus i wanna give us evo drivers a better name.

This one time I was driving by a dealership and out comes this mini cooper and the guy gives me a middle finger. So i stop really hard, right in front of him. He rolls up his windows up and looks away. I think he knows i get more hugs from corners than he does HAHAHA!

Drive thru mcdonalds, order my food and the end he says very faintly nice evo man. As i'm driving up to the window i'm like did he just say nice evo ?? Sure enough he's like how much did you pay ? I was like brand new 32k, the one and only owner for 80k miles.

 

I got to it! I'm up to date!

And btw... wtf? You think your factory suspension Evo gets more hugs from corners than he does? Maybe if he doesn't drive hard. While it was rude of him to flip you off for no reason, it doesn't mean the Mini can't handle like a champ. My girlfriend isn't the best driver and she can out corner me. Have you maybe never driven a Mini before?

 

The first day I got my car---I was chased down by a few elementary kids 9 to 11 years of age. They kindly asked me for my autographed, (Me puzzled)--I grabbed the gas station receipt and tore it in two and gave them an autograph. This just shows the popularity of Gran Turismo Franchise in our culture. <-Hell! the first time I've seen an evo was in "GT."

Everytime I drive by little kids they yell cool car or go fast! Its pretty funny to me cause im sure i did the same thing when i was little.

 

I was at the light... A dad and a kid next to me driving some american car. The kid opens his window and yells to me. "DO A BURN OUT" ... I look at them with confuse face thinking... is he for real? The dad looks at me smiling... I reply back "What was that?" Kid says "DO A BURN OUT" ... I'm like wtf (with wtf face) I yell back "I can't it's an AWD car!" ... The kid turns to his dad who's smiling all the time and says "He said he can't it's an AWD car..." I smiled then when it turned green I did what AWD can do best... take off fast

 

True but you gotta watch for the kind that are big attention ******...Maryland seems to have A LOT of chicks that just want to talk to you because you drive an Evo. I know this not from experience, from what I've seen being in the area. I hate that kind of girl, they don't like you....They like your car....
