High pitched beep coming from dash

There is a constant high pitched beep or hum that appears to be coming out of my dash. It just started today and by the time I got to work I had a splitting headache.

It's definitely electrical and unfortunately I'm really green at electrical stuff, so before I start ripping out my dashboard does anyone have an idea of what it could be.

My suspicions are a burnt out light bulb, or perhaps something wrong with trustz gauge overlay I installed about six weeks ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a good way to start chasing down a strange noise?

the good thing about being a high pitch noise is that you should ber able to pin point it. i have never heard of a light blub making any noise. they eather work or they don't. If there trustz gauge overlay is indiglow the is a good chance that the tranformer that runs the overlay is the cause of the problem. i would go though and isolate the source turing on lights, radio, blinkers, etc.....gl

In my old car I had the indiglow guages but a different brand and after a while my transformer would hum like crazy.
I ended up taking it out it was so bad.
