Hi. I was wondering who else besides of myself have installed the auto-retractables mirrors on their evos. And why the hell Mitsubishi removed them from the USDM mitsu.?

 

our parking space aren't as tight as japans or other countries parking areas

 

I didnt even know they had auto retrac. mirrors in Japan. I think that would be an awesome mod!

i had a set on a honda, they are cool for about .00007653489 seconds. then you forget about them and its money wasted

I really don't think the auto-retractable function are really useless. It feels so cool when I see a luxery BMW or a Mercedes Benz retracting the mirrors and knowing my jap Evo can do the same. Even if I don't use them very often I think is way better to have them without needing them that need them without having them. Also at 100mph closing them can reduce wind resistence. And to finish with this issue We all pay for a stripped down Evo when it should came with it all the goodies.

 

its true we missed out on some "goodies" but its good not all cars are the same. keep variety. Plus they didn't slack on the "goodies" under the hood. cheers

 

Think of how many times you are going to be able to talk or brag about your "retractable mirrors" before you get tired of it.... probably not worth it
