Zeitronix Wideband/Boost Question
Zeitronix Wideband/Boost Question
why on this wideband on boost it doesnt tell me full boost till i hit the limiter ive seen analog boost gauges that as soon as youre spooling they tell u ure full boost?
i am 2 i love my zeitronix wideband/boost gauge but its annoying i gotta watch it at redline to see the boost it does have a button to show peak but i dont know, would be nice to see peak as soon as u spool
Are you using the optional LCD? If so, that's why. It only updates 3 times per second, and like all LCDs, it also takes time for the crystals to be adjusted, so the data you're seeing is probably anywhere from 100 to 300ms old. An analog gauge, on the other hand, has practically no delay at all.

To display the peak boost do the following.
Round digital AEM like gauge:
hold the button on the lower right hand corner like you are going to switch views for a moment it will switch over to pAFR which is the lowest spike in AFR, adjustable i think in the software. Pressing the button at this time will show you peak boost, eft, etc as it switches views. To get back just hold it down again, warning doing this will clear your peak boost out of memory as well so you can't go immediately back.
Its under the 2 button functionality part

Square LED gauge:
Same deal but i don't remember holding it down i think just pressing the button did the switch since it displays ALL at once. The button on this gauge was on the lower left hand side IIRC and was on the side not the face like the round gauge.
