After having my car 2 years and investing alot of time and money into it i have sold it. Gotta move forward and get a place of my own and am gonna buy a street bike so i can still have some fun.

Farewell , but be careful with those streetbikes ; especially the 1000s lol . I sold my TL1000R to get into the Evo clan . I knew that racing at 165mph will kill me so I had to let go . And know you are doing the complete opposite of what I did lol.

they are insanely fast... one of my good buddies has one thats blue.. Its an 08 me and him was neck and neck with me next to him on my cbr 1000 but be careful man. I sold mine I was scared I was gonna kill myself 12:00 is addicting.....

 

Do you have any riding experience before? Please don't get a liter bike. Don't kill yourself.

 

I'm sure you won't miss this place. There are a select few of people that are useful one here and the rest are total morons.

I'd like to echo Rocky2's suggestion. Please, do yourself a favor and start with a 250 or 500. I know it won't look as cool as a literbike, but starting with a literbike close to suicide.

 

I did the same thing (sold my ITR hybrid) and bought my house. Bought a motorcycle to fill the void....stayed far away from cars until I could afford my evo 3 years later.

DO NOT GET A 1000CC as your first bike. 600's are almost as fast as litre bikes from a standstill....litre bikes leave little if any room for error. I rode 600's for 4 years. I'm just now looking at stepping up to a litre bike and the prospect still scares me. Litre bikes are useless for the street anyways. I just love the new CBR1000 RR's.
