Unhappy Rear Ended..First accident in my life

My friends and I were going out to eat to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. We were traveling I-8 west and traffic was backed up on the exit of mission auto center drive,,,so naturally we took our place in line. two other cars ( an SUV and Pick up) also took their place behind me. A couple seconds pass and all suddenly the screeching of brakes and the unmistakable sound of collision, but it did not stop there. An old man ( probably in his 70's) had failed to see the traffic building in front of him and slammed into the SUV...the SUV ran into the Pick up, and the Pick up ran into me. I did not hit anyone in front of me. So in the end, no one was hurt, but my poor evo's *** took a beating. Ive only had her for 10 months and an old man thought that was too long. I wish he had only paid more attention.

Sorry to hear that man...

I have been rear-ended twice....

Bring it to a reputable body shop and she'll be as good as new. At least it wasn't your fault, let the insurance pay for it

I spent all last night taking out the amp rack i built, and it was hell! In addition to the wiring i had to disconnect, the trunk itself had caved in,,, had to cut my amp rack to get it out with a saw. The trunk wont close anymore either.

it looks like minimum youre getting a new taillight, trunk, rear bumper and crash bar....Is there any warpage to the rear body panel(the back of the spare tire well), or distortion in the quarter panels? if so, i would be very selective about which body shop i went to, those would be considered structural repairs. sorry man, if it was me i would be heartbroken too.
