its more stuff then you need but it is a evo 8 to 9 install kit. You can sell the oil line to a a person that needs it using a fp red or green. OR keep it you might upgrade turbos later . I thought you were going to get his ported intake and 65mm throttle body?? YOu should pick those up. And the mishimoto raidaitor is a beast i have it and install was easy pm me if you want to see pics like you usually do keep me updated friend
Yeah, thanks again for pointing that thread out! I wanted the ported TB, Intake manifold, and cams but the price would have been too high due to CBRD removing them. Also, I wasn't able to get him my stock parts quick enough.

Yeah I have been considering that FP kit but I don't need all of those parts. At this point, I only need the oil and cooling lines.

Also, what is the difference between the VIII and the IX turbo outlet pipe? I bolted up my VIII outlet pipe and it seems to work perfectly...

Nice to see someone putting an Evo back on the road instead of wrecking it hehe, good luck! Also, if it hasn't been mentioned before, you can have it tuned for speed density, and run VTA without an anti stall kit (I think).

Curious and maybe i missed it through the thread, what are you doing with the motor?

You going to stroke it and pick up the extra torque?
If so, I would recommend AMS or Buschur

It would spool the heck out of that turbo nicely

Awesome thread and great job

from what we been talking about his main focus is getting it running again first hints buying all the parts to get it fixed. if the motor is bad then i guess he would have no choice but i dont think thats in the cards as of yet

I did a quick compression test on the motor and all 4 read out at about 177-180 psi, so I think I'm going to leave the motor alone for now. I do want to get a nice set of cams though.

If I get this car together and running in the near future, I would love to stroke it to a 2.3. We will see.

The angle of the VIII outlet pipe seems to be fine. I didn't have to fight the lower IC pipe to fit at all.

Looking good! Keep up the work. I doubted you at first, but your proving me wrong. Most people start a project and just give it up. Stay motivated!

I would wait until he has everything finally buttoned up as he may be taking things off and on several more times before his build is done.
