No problem in my car, yet....

But it is a very common problem in general.

Just try to get under the car and poke something in the drain. just stand back as the water might be a lot.

What kind of fluid is it? Is it rain water, coolant, refrigerant,? If it was rain water you can check your weather stripping on the door although the door should probably be wet too. I haven't had this problem yet. Just do a visual and hopefully you can find it. Good luck.

theres some threads on this that would probably be helpful. something about the driverside kick panel, behind it, there is an issue where the main connector is. if not, then yeah, check all the usual suspects like drain hose, mode box, etc. good luck!

check the grommet fitting that the rear O2 sensor wires run through. if its loose road water will splash into the car. lots of it, I know.

It's a hole in your firewall. By a rubber grommet and block it and put some sealant around it.

i had that problem a yr ago it fried out the main connector shorted. kinda funny the wipers lights and car ran with the keys out of the car. I came to the same conclusion of the rubber grommet where the harness comes into the car, under the fender. Sounds like Mitsu had some problems in the design stages of that piece.
