I was asked to pop in here. It doesn't sound like a cam sensor problem to me. Sounds like the rod broke which is typical of stock blocks that are pushed long enough and hard enough.

We'd be glad to do an engine for you, here or we can ship one. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Ive been working with Ricky for over a year.. Cars running nice and strong tuned fairly conservative since this car gets used for what it was intended for =-)

theres only one way to find out who was in the wrong, and that would be court, so at least you could sleep easy knowing the repair isnt coming out of your pocket if it really was his fault

i had no clue it was the sensor untill the mechanic checked it, the car sat as his shop for over a week and mitsu sent the wrong parts, there for drove it back to my house and waited for it, the next time it was driven it blew, need i remind you i had no clue i couldnt drive it, im not the mechanic

not to be a dick but do you still have the sensor my dealers is on back order and he said it could be even 3 months till the new one comes in. If you want to sell it let me know I need the left one if your looking at the motor from the side view of the drivers fender
