basically it's quick squeak every time i hit a bump - but last night it squeaked along with the vibration of the car - so basically "chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp" at a rate of about 3-4 per second when the engine vibrates. definitely inside the dash though so it's weird

^^ that doesn't happen all the time though, normally it's with any minor bumps i hit along the road

..so any contribution about the noise or did you just stop by to judge me? lol
Sorry about judging you, I thought you were still driving the car regular.. Okay, so lets get to the problem. Does the noise come on when the heat/ac is on? Also does the steering feel any different?

no problem, thanks.

noise comes on no matter what is on. steering feels the same. it's actually pretty loud too, really confusing.

removal

take the dash out and reinstall it with some double contact thin foam tape around the edges. make sure you get everything installed correctly and tight

nice, doing it now.

as luck would have it, the noise wasn't presenting itself tonight naturally - so I drove over some bumpy roads to bring it out. I gotta say though that last night this noise was chirping away regardless of smooth roads or whatever..

I hate how intermittent it is, but it definitely always presents itself when the car is driven over bumps. At one point in the video you can hear my suspension squeak, probably bushings or w/e. totally different from the inside-the-dash squeak.

ya open her up man, my guess its probably some lose bracket or something. i had a similiar issue with my trunk brake light housing was making some crazy noise at certain speeds and the nuts on it were lose. tightened them and the noise went away. gl

ps. u shoud linclude these vids on the op.

I have heard of after a while once dash boards tend to lose its structural integrity. It could very well be your dash or any components in or around it. You might want to take it to the dealer though.
