But the squeak has been there before and its annoying since its a high pitched.

i have noticed that as well when i installed the front engine mount, but not as much as what he has shown in the vidoe.

No, but the noise is tied to the vibration of the car, so that's why it's gotten worse.

Sure, my video was just extremely exaggerated as I drove the car over some really bad roads.

Do you guys have boost gauges? What kind, and what's the mounting location etc? I have to wonder because I've thought I've noticed some noise because of it when, for example, you do one of those near-stalls when you don't give the car enough gas when you take off, or something like that. Any ideas there?

Oh gotcha - no, just that the boost gauge goes a little crazy and like rattles or something if I almost stall the car lol. I guess any theories about how the boost gauge was hooked up is out

mine makes that sound sometimes over bumpy roads, but not nearly as much. Its definitely something inside the cabin, mine did that even before i started to mod.

Yeah just looking to pinpoint it - haven't removed the dash yet, kinda waiting for warmer weather, it's still like 40-50 in the garage right now. At least I'm not the only one!

yesterday was another rough day for the noise - every tremor seemed to cause it to squeak pretty badly - almost all the time.

It seems when I push down right over where the noise seems to be coming from (just to the right of that vent) - it doesn't stop the noise, but it does help somewhat - the noise still happens but not as loud, maybe not as often etc.

Since I been posting in this thread, I have not heard much squeak at all. I am in Bay Area, California and it has been cold weather lately. Mostly dark cloud gloom and some rainy days.

Kyooch,

I think I have the same squeak as you do. I mean, mine isn't as bad as yours but driving every now and then there is a little squeak coming from somewhere. For me, the radio has to be off and it has to be pretty quiet for you to hear the squeak in my car. Hopefully, it doesn't get as loud as yours, lol.

My car is a IX SSL. It's pretty stock except, suspensions, lower IC/FM and greddy bov and I may have aftermarket engine mounts..

Gotcha, interesting. Any mods inside the cabin? I'm not 100% sure but I want to say my squeak started out relatively small - now it happens noticeably and loud nearly every time I drive.

Keep me updated, and I'll hopefully post a solution here when I get the chance.

Yea bud, I have no mods inside the cabin.. It's so weird! I tried to figure out where it was coming from but I wasn't getting to far, lol. Like I said, it is really quiet and rare that I hear it, most likely because I always up the music a bit... I will keep ya updated if anything! Thanks.

It's just sad because this is the only interior noise I've had - no squeaks rattles, whatever - just this one lone squeak.. otherwise the car's been perfect
