I don't think kids would buy this car. Sure it's cheaper, but not substantially so. $6000 is still a big gap between this car and the SRT4, and it's more like $8000 if they get the a/c and power windows/locks, which I assume most will have. I don't think the US market has ever seen a car that's as purpose built for motorsport as this car, and definitely not at this price point. Even the RX7 R1 had sound deadening and air conditioning... the only thing I can think that would be close would be the first year Integra Type-R's and though there are lots of pretenders, most type-r owners are not the immature ricer type. And besides, for $26K a kid can get an SRT4 with the Mopar Stage 3 mods and kill an evo in the 1/4, which is what immature ricers care about anyway, not autocross or handling for that matter. This thing is going to change the ESP class for good...

 

Just wait for the RS to come out, I bet someone will trade with you..
