Do you have just the filter or the whole kit? I have the filter, intake pipe, and upper and lower injen ic piping and have no problems.

If in fact it IS installed correctly and still hits, then I think Injen needs to work on their quality control. On my UICP I got in the intake kit, I had to cut over an inch off the tube going to the BOV for it to be remotely close to fitting.

i'll try tilting it and see if that solves the problem. i had the same intake/ic pipe kit on my last evo and had the same issue with that.

I swapped the supplied Injen filter with a K&N RF-1005. Fitment is perfect along with added visual appeal.

Your filter is injen too? You just have to make sure everything is pushed in tight and it shouldn't hit.

yup. it's the injen filter. i'm gonna have to replace it though since it has a nice little dent on it from hitting the ACD reservoir. i'm gonna reinstall my ic pipes and injen intake to make sure i installed everything correctly.
