shop is taking too long?
All I can say is welcome to the Evo world, or at this point any modified car world. Last year I drove my car for less than 5000 miles because my car spend more time in shops instead of the road. I'd say you will have a lot of problems getting your car out of that shop because of all the parts missing and stuff that you bought. It will be extremely hard to everything back together.
That does seem like a bit too long. When I built my motor I did all the work myself with the exception of machine work. And even though I took my time and had to save up some money and wait for some parts for over 2 weeks I still had it all done in about a month and a half. If I were you I would go to the shop and check on the progress and start getting on them about getting it done.
ok, so just by reading everyone's take on this and the person who posted this question. I have to agree with everyone else reply. 3 to 4 months of waiting is a lil bit too much. You fork out the cash, so they should know that you aint got no car to drive. Of course we want you to have a good running car however, I would be calling everyday or showing up when you could get the chance to roll throughSpeak to a manager or something and putting a deadline is the right way of getting a rush on that. I think next should be some legal advice, doesnt hurt to ask. One thing i would say wouldnt be a good idea to post threats when someone could be on this tread and fixing your car @ tha same time ...jus saying ....keep your head up and you will get your evo back man ... peace
