100 octane fuel
Are you really considering running aviation fuel, because real aviation fuel does not belong in a car and will fu(k things up?
Sunoco does makes a 100 octane you can run in cars. You can run 100 octane on a stock tune. It's not going to make you slow. Higher octane allows you to run more boost and timing without getting predetination/knock. However if you are not tuned for it, you are just burning the fuel and your money.
Oh yea, make sure it's unleaded or it will mess with the O2 sensor.

You can run 100 octane in the car and just up the boost a few PSI and yes the car will make more power nothing new there.
Optimally though and the only way to roll IMO is to get a tune for that fuel.
Sunoco 100 Oct is unleaded but people run leaded race gas in cars all the time

I have leaded 110 in my car right now, no issues yet. If you look around many people have gone through 50+ gallons of q16 or similar leaded fuel, many of them much more than that. Your call will run fine on the 100, its still a waste of money. My car only has 110 in it because it was knocking a bit on 93.

AVGAS is leaded.. even the AVGAS 100LL has a lot of lead in it. This will clog your cat, and muck up your 02 sensors eventually.
I say find some 100 Unleaded at a CAR gas station, if you must.

For example, the primary fuel that I have here in Southern Arizona is 91-octane that sells for roughly $2.90/gallon. I do have a nice supply of E85 that sells for roughly $2.45/gallon. This is a no-brainer decision which is why I run the "corn juice". Now if you don't have E85 nor feel comfortable in running alky or meth, but you do have 100-octane and don't mind spending the additional money, then off you go!
It boils down to your power goals, availability, and cost.
Yes you'll be able to run more boost and timing which will net you more power. As the higher the octane the less prone to detonation.
