Anyone fix scratches on dash of evo?

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows how to clear up light scratches on the plastic dash and glove box, is it worth trying to buff them out? <- have no idea.

use a heat gun....

Go in small circles and don't get the heat gun too close. The scratches will magically disappear. Be careful though....get it too hot and you will get shiny spots. Practice on your door scuff plates.

Great idea, never would have thought of that. Yeah I would start on something i won't worry about. So I wouldn't need anything to wipe the dash after I used the heat gun?

Nope...you doing need anything but the heat gun. What it does is melts off the little "hairs" of plastic that are seen in the scratch. It will never be "new" but you certainly won't be able to see the scratches.

Take your time and be patient.

Would have never thought about using the heat gun to remove scratches.
