First post updated with rules;
Apparently pro drivers and shop cars are ok as long as they fit those rules.

no thanks. all you just described is an aspiring ricer. I want to see someone who knows what they are doing. fools rush in and all that. immature foolishness disguised as bravery isn't what this forum or any competition is about. we need a skilled driver with a good car that knows what he's doing out there.

haha hey hey no reason to be mean, just giving options and i didnt say im an expert im just trying to help sorry. (you guys said an average driver that wasn't involved in all the sponsored stuff, with a street legal car that was slightly modded, could be interesting so just gave out an option. and for the record i know my car very well. but as i said just trying to help nothing more
and ricer is a bit harsh... if i wanted to be a ricer i would have gotten a civic and put decals on and a high pitched exhaust

not trying to be mean but i would never suggest myself to race, and i autox my car pretty regularly. what is it about your car you know well? have you actually competed in any sort of racing against other evos with similar mods as you and actually beat them?

u guys said u were open to suggestions of people that would be willing to put their time/money/car on the line for this. and ive raced my baby around. not against an evo because why would u race the same car...ive races STI's, ZO6, Camero...only cars thats beaten me so far was a gunmetal sti with 500+whp he had a lot more mods then me obviously..thats the only note worthy cars...this was all done on back roads that are less forgiving then a track... but ur misunderstanding me, im not saying look at me im an amazing drive with an amazing car...im saying im an average guy, the knows his car pretty well (i am still learning not saying i know it 100%), and thats willing to put in the time and effort for something i believe in. the only reason i brought it up is cause u guys said for people who were interesting to let you know. if i miss understood that i will gladly delete my post and apologize for anything.

The only problem with sending Badbish and David is that thered be no street legal STi's that could give the Badbish some competition, unless it was turned off and being pulled by sled dogs

I've beaten plenty of EVO's and STi's similarly modded, and with more mods in autocross, and road course events. as for the drag racing part of the event, I've done about as well as I could in a basically stock EVO. at the time I ran it, the only mod was a catback, no tune and i ran 12.8. I later put the the stock exhaust back on because of a fixit ticket, and ran a 12.8 again just with a slightly better 60'. so if no one else wanted to go, or could go, i would LOVE the chance.

I'm sorry if I came off rude, but I think you did misunderstand the type of driver we want. I personally would like to see an above average driver that can drive his/her car to its full potential. win or lose, i just want to know that the person we sent did the best they could have. the guys from season one did themselves and their respective forums a huge disservice by being completely unprepared for what was asked of them during the competition. Also, beating people on backroads is not even close to the same as racing against seasoned competitors in an actual sanctioned event. most people that are dumb enough to race on backroads usually don't have the skills to push their cars to their limits. if they did, any of the cars you listed would be moving at speeds waaayyyy too fast for any backroad. You may want to watch saying things like that too...street racing is strictly forbidden on this forum, and it really is a dumb idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for some spirited driving, but there's no way to safely drive your car to it's limits on the street, and as well as you THINK you've driven your car, I can pretty much guarantee that at your first trip to an autocross event, an experienced driver there could smoke you in your own car.
