K&N drop in filter
I was tuned on a stock filter, but I recently picked up a K&N drop in. Should I be okay, or should I adjust the fuel maps a bit to correct for the new filter?
you will be fine with it, it doesnt make that much of a difference if any at all. if you have a wideband go ahead and adjust but if no wideband then dont mess with the fuel maps because my evo didnt come pig rich like everyone claims they are
Okay..realllly...I'm trying to help others out and you have nothing better to do than harass me about this!! There's absolutely no reason for that! Usually people like to hear more than one opinion to give them a sense of security. So yes there is a reason for this guy to hear multiple opinions stating he will be safe!
What do you think eric06IX?

i think you dont read threads before you post, and to be honest no i dont have anything better to do. you dont need to be all butt hurt and ask him what he thinks. simple searches can answer his question anyway

You will certainly be fine with a drop in w/o further need of a tune.
i cant believe you took the time too, so what if you think im what you said. it seems like people lately make threads that could be answered just by searching. nothing different about what you did than what i did
sorry to hijack eric.
I had a KnN before the Perrin it was negligible but that doesn't mean in no way shape or form that the turbo wasn't breathing better and power wasn't being made. The best option for stock boxes IMO.
