The day has finally come...
Damn...sad to hear this man. Unfortunately, i'm on the same boat as you are. I'm getting married in 2 weeks, and the wifey wants me to trade it in for a new Toyota Venza, which i'm actually kinda ok with lol, but imma try to convince her to get an Evo X MR instead...or maybe even the Evo X MR SE. hahaa.
Anyways, gud luck to you brotha!

If you cant afford the evo- for the family, then yes you should sell. But if its just a Noise-style-saftey thing the evo is a great car, and super safe. Return it to stock, and your set. I have an evo, and the wife drives a SUV. We dont trip much in my car, but I have a sweet baby seat and my 1 1/2 old daugther LOVES my car. We usually just take it out for drives. But like I said, if its a money thing and payments maint of the evo is too much, it would have to go.
I'm in the same boat, kinda down, I have a job but I havent been putting in work for months now and i'm engaged too, the Fiance said car gottas go. I'm trying to hold on to it as long as I can, we havent gone out for weeks now just so I can make my monthly payments hahaha.... I just dont want to let go!
i was gonna sell my evo as well. but i did decide to keep it and made it more family friendly. i put the MR suspension with swift spec Rs and it's great. and we just got her a subaru forester so everyone was happy. i think my son will love riding in the evo with his dad (me) when he gets a bit older.
