Rattling/noise @ 1500 RPM EVO 8

Just got this rattling sound started last month, no mods on the car except exhaust (been on the car since 03). It would rattle only @ 1500 rpm, sound like its comming from the engine bay. Any ideas?

Kinda vague. Maybe you should have someone try to hold the throttle at 1500rpm and you look under the hood.

is this when you are first taking off? as the others stated, this is VERY vague. if you want someone to help diagnose, you have to be as specific as possible.

Car is in neutral, it just rattles exactly @ 1500 rpm. if its over or under 1500 rpm no rattle. It rattles even when the car been running for awhile.

Any ideas where the noise is coming from? Its obviously just something loose under the hood or under the car, check exhaust components they loosen up often and wiggle a lot at certain RPMs..

if you have an aftermarket downpipe, its probably hitting the tie bars, most of the downpipes tend to rub against the bars when taking off
