starter fuse

Besides the Fuse on the Positive cable is there anyother FUSE for the starter i can loook at?!?!? MY Car doesnt Turn over, but was able to push the car and pop the clutch it started got it home, next morning no cranking over can anyone care to CHIME in on my problem?!?!?!

Check the lead to the starter solenoid it's a thin wire connection may have broken

ill check up on that thaanks for the info.... another thing is i had a jumpstarter on it this morning thinking my battery was dead, turned it over couple time and the cables got super HOT and smoke was coming from the negative post cable

Sounds like bad grounding there man. Check them all thoroughly

Or you had the jumper cables backward which I doubt. Opps

You consider your starter could just be dead?

Sounds like the relay is working on the starter so the little wire is fine.

If its smoking the battery cables it probably just done and needs to be replaced.

just pull the starter off and have a buddy run you up to advance and have them test it. From my experience things getting hott tells me you hgave mechanical resistance somewhere. Either in the starter,engine,or engine accessories (alternator,power steering pump...)

I think the starter is drawing too much amps. Can you turn the motor easy with your hands. If so, the starter took a dive. GL.

I was going to suggest replacing your muffler bearings but testing the starter sounds like a better idea. GL!
