I believe the fastest it ever ran was on a 42R. They sold the black car

AFAIK the fastest, and quickest evo in the 1/4 mile uses a twinscroll 42R, the fastest evo in the standing mile also uses a twinscroll 42R.

We sold the black car nearly two years ago.

Yes, we had a GT42r on it, it was a pure 100% drag car, good for nothing else but running straight down a 1/4 mile. The car with that turbo STILL is the FASTEST EVO8-9, it ran 172.74 mph, that record has stood now for going on 4 years.

I'd never consider using one on a street EVO.

 

Jesus 172 is MOVING.

4 years is a very long record of any kind to stand in motorsports!

That's outrageous, I would also never want a race car ever again just sits around and only driven at the track, I like to drive my car on the street all the time so that's why I sold my galant vr4 race car

 

I am with you on that evoforlife. I have no desire to own another race car.
