I'm really confused to where you get your logic, on EVERYTHING leon!!!
oh iam pretty sure fpblack will whip 35R at dead stop and drag strip, but not on a highway rolling 70mph Mikey, all mine logic are from 25 years of modifying car buddy. From vettes, mustangs to hondas and evos. I quess before u even born.

i would have to disagree on this. there is just so much u can do with fp red or black. a 35r will out power any of those turbo in the long wrong with the right mods..

..not to rain on your parade man but your 613 on a dynojet is more like 530-550 on a mustang dyno, which most 35R cars can make around 600whp+ on a mustang dyno. I believe a standard 35R maxxed out on a MD is around 650whp. Just about any 35R setup on E85 could pretty easily pull close to 700whp on a dynojet. But for 25psi ya.. you made good numbers even for a dynojet.

I don't think people understand that big frame turbos don't really lag at all.. that's why God invented anti-lag. All you have to do is two-step the sum***** and bam you're launching with 25psi+ off the line, or if you're on the highway.. brake boost. The best part is the boost doesn't fall off so you don't lose any horsepower.. usually you gain tons of power as you go higher in the RPMs with the right head and cams setup.

Curt Brown ran 9.3 @ 150mph with a GT35R.. full interior, street car.

OKIXs best with the FP Black with a stripped out race car was 9.5 @ 149.

I'm sorry.. for the money FP turbos aren't bad but they'll never stack up to a larger frame turbo. You have to put much more of a strain on the FP Black than you do on a 35R in order to make the same horsepower numbers. This isn't false logic.. this is fact.

^dang right, Supra dont race from a dead stop cuz of its huge turbo. That 's why we needed atleast a 35r to hang with them Supra on the highway. I dont think Fpblack evo can run with t88 supra up top. Go big or Go home

i love when i see the fp red/black guys comment about how horrible the lag is on 35r framed turbos.honestly i dont mind it at all and when boost hits you forget all about it. Mikey your car is once exception to the fp turbos because well your on a custom 2.4l setup on custom cams. My goal on my car was to get about 500-550hp and i would much rather run my 6262 at a lower boost amount then push the fp turbos harder. Its all what you want to use the car for though. For me all my car will see is the 1/4 a few times a year and mostly highway runs.

yeah i had a good laugh the other day when my friend with and x told me my car is unstreetable. (530hp evo 8 daily driven) when a few weeks ago we drove to the beach, he followed me and wouldnt go above 85mph because he would hit boost and suck down fuel. where as my (laggy) 35r wasnt boosting till after 4500rpm . he is stock except for a boost controller and dyno tune. makes 250 less hp than me and i can match his miles per gallon. to me that makes my car a better daily driver, ac and all.
