yeah i had a good laugh the other day when my friend with and x told me my car is unstreetable. (530hp evo 8 daily driven) when a few weeks ago we drove to the beach, he followed me and wouldnt go above 85mph because he would hit boost and suck down fuel. where as my (laggy) 35r wasnt boosting till after 4500rpm . he is stock except for a boost controller and dyno tune. makes 250 less hp than me and i can match his miles per gallon. to me that makes my car a better daily driver, ac and all.
-not streetable my *** im doing just fine

600hp+ on E85
- thats awesome keep up the good work

who the f*ck races from a 70mph roll? you sound like you drive an SRT-4
- yeah im pretty sure the 35r is as capable in 2nd gear as it is in 3rd 4th and 5th

well I'm running 2.3L gt3582hta, 272 kelfords, and suporting mods on 93. still don't know how much power is puting out........because I dont care I havent even maxed out 4th gear on a full pull because I $hit my pants. Gave my buddy a ride pull on third gear and he almost jumped out of the car, that'a all I care about. love the feeling of that gt35 banging your head on the seat when she pulls. ohh yeah that steering wheel feels really light too. But I tell you droping to 4th in high way...damn!!!!

Haha. Never thought of that. Better fuel economy at high speed cruise!

If you are talking about my car it is actually on E85. I expect if I ran 93 I would still be over 600hp but I would have to run 28-29psi. You are not missing anything. That is my car and that is what it is making.

And before you try and argue like you always do, you are wrong so don't bother.

1) I have more tq
2) Faster Spool up
3) Faster Spool between gears
4) Beter response.

I'm really confused to where you get your logic, on EVERYTHING leon!!!
Sure you do, you also have a built 2.4. There are guys making 700-800hp on built 2.4 on hta86's, there isn't a comparison honestly.

This thread is getting into bench racing territory, egads.

Due to not wanting to throw a rod BEFORE I put on the 35R I had stock bore forged pistons put in, high hp rods, valvetrain and headstuds all done. Head itself was stock, block was stock size, stock crank, stock intake manifold etc etc. I have the rest of the bolt-ons that everyone else has. On the AMS 35R at 22 PSI peak I was at 470hp 400tq on a very mild tune (my choice due to having meth for an aggressive tune). At 33-34 PSI the 35R woke up even on the smaller .63AR exhaust housing and I hit 600hp and 470ish tq before the clutch gave out. Tamer said there was still alot of room to grow with this set-up.

Since I got the new clutch and a rebuilt transmission I have the Magnus V5, Shep trans, hta86, double pumper, fic 2150's, and e-85. I'm hoping for 675-700 with approximately 5 mpg

In my opinion thats pretty well said. its not always about power, its about finally being satisfied, which unfortunantly a lot of us just want to keep going and going, so props

I am putting down 589hp @ 31lbs on pump gas with my 3582. I am going to re-tune it with bigger injectors (fic 2150's) on pump, then tune for E-85. I love this turbo. If you know how to drive, the lag isn't a problem.

Will your existing inline pump setup be enough on E85, Chelito? Or, will you go to a parallel double pumper on E85 and 38#?

We have had some recent standard 35Rs on the dyno. I will have to go dig the one up, but on Q and one of our aluminum rod 2.0s (its getting a larger turbo in the near future) it made 640s at 38psi.

I know its a little while past the post, but I bet Curt's car is lighter than Tony's. Really I do.
