Just not the same quality as an OEM or the AMS. I heard only lasts a year on built setups.

So the Cometic is not recommended? I dont need the head gasket blowing through at 1 year... but then again.. the rebuild kit has an OEM head gasket with it... so I may just use that... I may call and replace... hows the cosworth?

Cosworth is one of the better I heard, but I think if your kit comes with OEM stick with it. OEM is a good way to go.

Exactly what I did when SBR sent me one, then I bought the AMS machined gasket.

In my eyes, OEM has been tested to meet certain expectations and so many people have ben running it without issue, you shouldn't be any different

I pme'd you back but got no reply.
Stay away from cometic. They did tests and proved they were junk!
There is a thread about it on here somewhere.
