never felt any difference, irrespective of brand. aside from the chevron techron additive (BMW valve weight test), there have been no good reports to suggest quality differences in additives.

 

truthfully i filled up with 93 from BP, Exon, and shell. I also sometimes get gas from costco or sam's. I havn't felt or seen any differences in the gases when i filled up. i figure since at Sam's and costco i see a BMW and Mercedes filling up there it should be safe, since most of them require higher octane fuels as well.
