SRT is an ok car for cheap speed. But it doesn't compare to the EVO in any performance aspect I can think of.

I drove my friends caliber srt4 the other day. Hit the gas in first and wheelspin. 2nd gear, wheelspin. It sucks. I'm used to the mashing the throttle and going. Straighline at highway speeds are the only time the srt4 is even close. Also, it's a neon and not real cool imho.

I've driven my friends SRT4, and to be honest it's not bad. Compared to an Evo it's no competition though stock vs stock.

I will never own another FWD car besides my daily driver. The fun factor just isn't there IMO. If you have a choice between the two, I think you will regret going with the SRT4.

find a 9 for 16k either beat to sh*t or high mileage, would save and buy and evo, srt are slow even when modded and dont handle just drive straight lines

Sounds like you know NOTHING about srt-4's. I have owned one and yes they are WRONG WHEEL DRIVE. But like any car you CAN make them handle respectively fairly cheap. Money for power the srt takes the cake. stock vs stock the srt will eat a evo from a roll. The srt only wieghs 2800lbs. and is a torque monster, but have fun trying to find one that has not been abused! You can get a respectable srt for around 10k, and save the rest for mods! if you have any questions pm me about the cars, i know just about everything about them. also for those that think they are slow.....my srt with just a cut out and CAI went door and door with my friends 350rwhp 01 cobra! also here is a link of my STOCK srt vs his cobra. ENJOY

And just to verify his car is not just slow here is another
