Help! There's mold in my AC
The way that might help avoid this is before shutting the car off turn the ac off for a minute or two and just run the fan on high, it is supposed to help dry everything off. I do this on all my cars and I have never had a problem.
That's a good idea. I notice that after I kill the motor and put the key in "accessory" mode, if I had the AC running, then the air coming out is still cold for a few minutes. Eventually it stops being cold. That must mean the condenser has lost its cool. But before I can start following this advice, I need to get rid of the mold that is there right now. Can anyone tell me if Frigi Fresh is a perfumy cover-up, or does it kill mold and then leave no lingering fragrance? I just can't deal with perfume.
