Car stalls EVERYTIME after letting off-- is it batt or alt?
I'll elaborate: His VTA Tial only blew off partially. His vac hose was leaking, so his BOV sounded like a gobbling turkey. Not enough air was leaving the system as he vented, which defeats the purpose of a nice BOV like a Tial. However, it also didn't let enough air out to cause him to stall. Choking down a BOV to prevent stall? Nice if you want to bandaid the system, which has a boost leak as a side effect, and the potential to surge a turbo.
So.. we fixed the boost leak that permitted the Tial to vent fully and do its job, which lead to stall. I got rid of the stall via the tune. Now, there are no more boost leaks, the Tial can do its job, and his car doesn't stall. Three objectives, and all three achieved.

My pal had the same problem. He unplugged the battery then started it and kept the engine running for 2 fan cycles then problem was gone I think d/c the battery restarts the ecu.
