Next round of mods recommendations?

I have a 04 evo rs with current mods:

*HKS 272
*ARP head studs
*wahlbro 255
*injin intake
*injin uicp and licp
*exhaust manifold
*street tune
*agency power front engine mount
*3" tbe with cat delete
*1g crushed BOV

The next rounds of mods I was planning for is upgraded turbo, front mount, and bigger injectors... finished off with a dyno tune.

Is this the mods you guys would recommend? With the additional mods what kinda perfomance could I expect? (ET, WHP, ect). Price goal is 2k and under.

what turbo are you looking to run and what fuel? to go the cheap route for a turbo i would buy a used evo 9 turbo and send to fp for a rebuild and then get a 3 or 3.5in ets fmic. its going to be almost impossible to do this for under $2000. 3in ets fmic is around 500, a fp rebuilt green or red is around 1000 but you also have to buy a used evp 9 turbo which is around 400-500, and injectors are 250-400, then you add in the cost of dyno and tune

Used FP Green. Knock off (ebay) front mount. 02 housing. 800cc+ injectors you might be able to do for under 2k.

I have yet to have my evo on the dyno, but with the mods I have now I would guess any where between 310-325whp.

if you want to make more power than you got now then i would get a evo 9 turbo and switch to e85, 1200cc injectors, ets 3in fmic, that would be the cheapest round of mods imo

***edit***

you are on the right track. I just read the OP again.

i would say front mount, injectors, and an upgraded turbo. I would also ditch the injen piping and go short route UICP w/ small battery.

i assume going with the new turbo deffinently go with a larger j-pipe?

I considered going with methanol injection instead of the turbo upgrade? Does it cause any reliablity issues? Will it give about the same power gains?

If your keeping the stock turbo, I recommend a ported o2 housing, 10.5 hotside, and some bigger injectors re-tune or even run e-e5 like others said. I have the exact same set-up but with the new gen gsc s2 cams, injectors, and the stuff I mention. Hopefully after a re-tune I can give you a heads up. G/l

definitely need to look into a new turbo. before you do that though, you need to sit down and seriously decide what exactly your goals are. that's always the forst step. once done with that, find out exactly what else you are going to need to get there.

yeah i think a clutch would be a good idea, then you could just do the supporting mods for the turbo and then when you have the funds get the turbo and not have to worry about the clutch dying out
