spend a few hundred AND get a tune no matter what he has you will walk him. spend like 800- 1000 make 200 or get all that work for free. have to think smart.
Dude, you're acting like after he races his buddy all of his mods will just disappear. Just because he won't make all of that money back right away doesn't mean its a waste of money.

Don't take a loan out for car mods.....esp if you are making a car note. Worst decision ever. Do the bolt on's and for this instance do a race gas. Call it a day.

I've run 12.1 with a cat back/drop-in filter/tune at 24 psi and 11.9 with a tbe/drop-in filter/tune at 22 psi. With the parts that you have all you need is a tune and you don't even need a mbc, I don't have one.

12.4 is attainable with the mods you already have. You just need driver mod.

i was thinking on getting a loan to buy all my stuff that i need in less than 1-2 weeks
than using my credit cards with high apr's!LOL.......my car will benefit from it in the long run, I am not just planning on that race day. Ill pay off the loan in 2 months and have a fast relaible street car in the 2 weeks!.

Pray to god he has the rear diff fail, like the vast majority of s2k's that go drag racing?

With flashpro and a good exhaust, I'm going to guess he'll be touching 120mph by the end. However, the nice thing is that he's going to have such a hard time getting out of the hole without breaking anything or just having his tires go up in smoke that you should beat him if you're a half decent driver. I would suggest a good MBC, turbo back (catless), LICP, cams, a splash of race gas, and a good tune. I would not touch that car on the streets though, light weight+high horsepower is a crazy combination where you're racing for more than a quarter of a mile. Best of luck!
