The UICP does not give you the greatest benefits compared to the LICP; however, it does improve response.

go with Muse licp, very good quality and price, fitment is excellent.

stock rubber hose blows even on less 400whp car. replace them with samco silicone hose is the way to go. don't go with the mini battery setup if you are going to do short route setup.

If you go short route...a mini battery is required.

What r u talkin bout? Like said above you have to run the mini battery if you decide to go with the short route uicp. A short route uicp will not fit on a stock battery.

The short route uicp will fit with stock battery if you relocated to the trunk, maybe that's what he meant.

mini batteries have known to fail and drain quick i know plenty of people that have got stuck at parking lots cause the mini battery doesnt feel like starting. If you upgrade the uicp, the best way is the short route ones, better throttle response, less bends which means less restriction, and relocate your battery in the trunk. LICP does make a difference and you will notice it once you put it on, the car will pull harder and the spool is quicker.

you'll gain some transient response from a short route UICP (noticeable? ehhh)

the biggest advantage of changing the UICP is losing the stock couplers which can expand significantly under boost

search, it's been documented

a tuned car with an aftermarket LICP can add 10-15 wtq over the stock LICP

The stock black hoses tend to leak over time, especially when pushing a few ponies through while using the stock clamps.
