spark plug wire popping at wot

spark plug wire popping at wot

ran my car yesterday and all sudden my car felt like it was studdering bad. no cell light. it felt like po300 multiple cylinder misfire. so i pulled over and my spark plug wire popped off. i plugged it backed in and it was running fine. just wondering wut caused this, or anyone had this problem before.

Check to make sure that plug is tightened into the head very well.

It probably just wasn't secure.

If anything, you will need to check if the plug wire is worn. Never heard of this though. NOTE: 8's and 9's are different

Vibration is the only thing I can thing of that would cause this. Just make sure your plugs are torque to the proper spec, if you dont have a torque wrench just hand tigthen them +1/4 turn. Make sure the plug wire boots are secure. Give a good push.

Yes make sure that the sparkplugs are well seated.
